My research has primarily focused on the functionalization and characterization of PEO-PAGE block copolymers. Thiol-ene radical coupling is used to produce charged diblock or triblock copolymers which are then characterized by DLS and SAXS to study the properties of micelles and hydrogels produced. This research could assist the Materials Genome Initiative by allowing optimization of these properties for both medical and industrial applications.
